MUSEUM TRIP IS A TREAT FOR KIDS, A BREAK FOR PARENTS

Take the kids to a museum - and then leave for a couple of hours on your own! Children's Day Monday at the Henry B. Plant Museum in Tampa gives parents of kids 6 and older a guilt-free break while the kids get a museum tour, learn Victorian-era games and make a mosaic tile plant container.

For two hours and $30 per child, the kids also get a snack, a gift and a year's membership at the museum. To register, call (813) 258-7304 by Friday.

The children's membership includes unlimited visits to the museum, a birthday card, a free ticket to the Victorian Christmas stroll and a valentine-making workshop at the museum, 401 W Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa.
