Watch for ...

Dandy Andy: Rays starter Andy Sonnanstine will try to snap a six-decision losing streak. He hasn't won since June 10, his second big-league start. In his last start Wednesday in Baltimore, Sonnanstine allowed five runs on seven hits in six innings. He walked three batters, including back-to-back walks, the most he has allowed in his 10 starts.

Dustin Off: Jays starter Dustin McGowan has been remarkable at times and not so much at others. He was just three outs away from a no-hitter last month, instead settling for a complete-game one-hitter, and he pitched 71/3 shutout innings in his last start Tuesday in a 7-0 win over Minnesota. Over his past two starts - a span of 141/3 innings - he has allowed just two runs.

Carl at the Bat? Rays LF Carl Crawford, out of the starting lineup the past two games with a sprained right wrist, is 3-for-4 with a homer against McGowan. 1B Carlos Pena is 2-for-3 with two homers against him.
