To Devil Rays management: I'm not buying anymore. I have NO need, NO hurry, NO desire, NO trust and NO money to waste on your product. And I will do the same to your national advertisers as well. Good things are seldom cheap and cheap things are seldom good. The common law of business ballast prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done. You lose everything. Credibility, image, place, position, promotion, brand and market share. Management, like trees, die first at the top.

Promotion of the day
The St. Paul Saints minor-league baseball team, always hip to current events and a corresponding promotion, plan to have a Michael Vick dog chew toy giveaway in the near future. The toys will be the color of the Atlanta Falcons and will include Vick's No. 7. Oh, and just a side note. Former Countryside High pitcher George Tsamis is the Saints manager and their all-time wins leader (265).
Career move of the day
Adam "Pacman'' Jones is suspended without pay from the NFL for a season, but a guy has to work. So Jones has signed on with TNA Wrestling. According to the Nashville Tennessean, Jones won't actually wrestle, but he'll have some role in the organization. And Jones' agent, Worrick Robinson, said Jones won't be a villain either.
