SIMMS' BODY STRUGGLES

Bucs QB Chris Simms walks off after practice Monday at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando. Simms, trying to bounce back after having his spleen removed last season, has displayed symptoms of irregular proprioception, limiting the number of snaps he has taken and making it difficult for him to turn his torso or throw on the run. He is a candidate for injured reserve. Proprioception is a sixth sense that allows you to know the position of your arms and legs in relation to your body.
