A NOD TO 100 YEARS OF SCOUTS

Rhys Campbell, 14, (his hands are at top left) gives a lesson in tying a sheet bend knot to about 15 members of Boy Scout Troop No. 110 of Brandon on Wednesday morning at Lykes Park in downtown Tampa. The scouts are marking the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America by donning period uniforms and demonstrating some of the activities done by the original scouts on this day in 1907 at the first Boy Scout camp at Brownsea Island in England.
