This is Tiger territory

Tiger Woods won the Bridgestone Invitational for the second straight year last year and the fifth time in seven years. The victory was the fourth in his string of seven straight PGA Tour wins. He swept the 1999-2001 tournaments at Firestone, beating Phil Mickelson by one; winning by 11 strokes, matching the course record with 61 en route to a tournament-record 21-under 259 total; then ousting Jim Furyk with birdie on the seventh extra hole. The 57-time PGA Tour winner has 13 victories in 24 WGC starts, with earnings of $17,840,830. The top 50 players in the world are in the 84-man field.

Pro debut

Tadd Fujikawa is making his pro debut at the PGA's $3.5-million Reno-Tahoe Open. The 16-year-old from Hawaii made the cut early this year at the Sony Open in Hawaii, where he tied for 20th, finishing 5 under par.
