LAST CHANCE

Two final operas: Intermezzo Opera Festival of New York concludes its week of performances today at the Black Box Theatre on the Nature Coast Technical High School campus, 4057 California St., Brooksville, with Falstaff at 3 p.m. and The Magic Flute at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 students. Little Sisters of Hoboken keep on singing: The musical comedy Nunsense continues weekends through Aug. 12 in Xavier Hall of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 5030 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Meet the artists: Progress Energy Art Gallery will hold an artist's reception from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The honoree is abstract artist Martha Marshall. Also exhibiting are Ralph Annan, Mark Burton, Sali Dalton, Harry Farmlett and Carol Gula. The exhibit, "Unconventional Wisdom: Abstract Expressionism with a Dash of Les Fauves," will be shown through Sept. 29. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

Art in public places: "Through the Painter's Eye," an exhibit of work by members of the West Pasco Art Guild, opens today at the West Pasco Government Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey, through Sept. 28. Comedy and song on its way: Singer-impressionist Rich Natole will perform at a dinner show at Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520, 9135 Denton Ave., Hudson, on Aug. 11. Dinner is at 6 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. Natole's act includes impressions of Larry King, Jay Leno, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and others. Tickets are $26; reservations required. Hospice fundraiser: The Save Our Sandbar group will hold a pig roast, treasure hunt and costume contest at the "Pirates for the Care-of-Being, A Bounty for Hospice," a fundraiser for Gulfside Regional Hospice, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at Gulf Harbors Yacht Club, 3924 Marine Parkway, New Port Richey.
