May the Force be with you: Star Wars turns 30 this year, and costumed fans are encouraged to bring their memorabilia to a showing of the movie from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 S Osceola Ave. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, take part in trivia games and enter a costume contest. Sit. Stay. Play ball!: Celebrate with your dog at the Humane Society of Pinellas' fundraiser "Bark at the Ball Park," beginning at 5 p.m. at Bright House Networks Field, 601 Old Coachman Road, Clearwater. The Clearwater Threshers will host the Tampa Yankees in a minor league game, and there will be gifts and treats for everyone, and there will be dogs available for adoption. Whimsical workshop for families: The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is offering a workshop for families from 2 to 4 p.m. at the museum, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs. Included is a tour of the exhibition Art of the Whimsical: Fabricated Sculptures by Esther Gentile and a studio activity using found objects provided by the museum, or participants may bring their own.
