Four-wheeled fun: Unsure how phrases like "ollieing," "grinding" and "Hippie Jump" relate to skateboarding? You can bet skateboard competitors do. Watch them execute these and other moves during a free competition at Largo Skate Park, 400 Highland Ave., Largo from 5:30-9 p.m. The event will feature prizes and giveaways. Sunset sounds: Be entertained by different musical styles each month at Downtown Largo's free concert series, Sunset Sounds, presented on the second Friday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ulmer Park, 301 West Bay Drive, Largo. Breast cancer awareness fundraiser: Attend the second annual Pitch For Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Night, sponsored by Morton Plant Mease Health Care and the Clearwater Threshers at Bright House Networks Field, 601 Old Coachman Road, Clearwater. Gates open this afternoon at 5:30 and the first 2,500 women will receive a commemorative pink beach bag or baseball cap. There will be a silent auction, a breast cancer survivor walk on the field at 6:30, and the game between the Threshers and Daytona Cubs begins at 7. Country music concert: Country singer and musician Louise Mandrell, the Southern gospel team Triumphant Quartet and up-and-coming country-western singer Christy Sutherland will perform in concert at Palm Harbor United Methodist Church, 1551 Belcher Road. Jazz or blues?: Jazz musicians will tell you that the Hammond B3 organ is really a jazz instrument, but you won't find many blues artists who agree with that assessment. Beat the heat: Kids 10 and older can have some real summer fun at the Hot Dogs & Fire Hose Spray Down starting at 1 p.m. at the East Lake Community Library, 4125 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor. Safety Harbor celebrates: Artists from the city of Safety Harbor will have their paintings, prints, calligraphy, photography and three-dimensional artwork showcased at the Safety Harbor Museum of Regional History, 329 Bayshore Blvd. S. The exhibit opens at 1 p.m., and many of the unique items will be available for purchase. Admission: $3 for adults, $2 for seniors, teens and children under 12; free for children under 7.
