GOOD FOR YOU

Karl Lehmann, a sophomore at Osceola High School in Seminole, recently completed his Eagle Scout service project at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo. He refurbished the hospital's Celebration of Life Memorial Garden, which had deteriorated over the years. Karl, 16, led a group of youth volunteers from Troop 337, who trimmed, weeded, planted shrubs and flowers, replaced worn benches and ground cover, and repaired the garden's fountain. The project was funded through a $1,000 Youth as Resources grant from the Pinellas County 4-H Youth Development Office. Karl is the son of Jim and Elizabeth Lehmann of Pinellas Park.
