Have a heart and wear red Friday
Take a fashionable stand against heart disease by wearing red Friday as part of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement, a national effort that celebrates the energy, passion and power that women have to band together to wipe out heart disease. One in three women has cardiovascular disease, and every minute one woman dies from it. Wear something red and jeans to work, make a donation of $5 or more, and learn how to love your heart by finding out ways to prevent heart disease.
