TEEN FACES BURGLARY CHARGES IN DAYLIGHT BREAK-INS AT HOMES

A 14-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday and charged with armed burglary and several counts of burglary and grand theft after officials say he broke into at least three Zephyrhills homes.

The burglaries occurred during the daytime on three separate dates in November 2007.

The Zephyrhills police and Pasco sheriff's deputies said the teen stole more than $13,000 worth of jewelry, electronics, alcohol and several firearms. Because of his age, the Times iswithholding his name.
