The mermaids of Weeki Wachee Springs will participate in the Go Red for Women nationwide movement during American Heart Month in February. During each performance of The Little Mermaid, the mermaid performing as the Little Mermaid will wear a red mermaid tail, symbolizing support and raising awareness of heart disease in women.
