Obesity Help (obesityhelp.com) offers a support group for anyone who is contemplating weight-loss surgery or for those who are post-op and who would like to gain support, information and inspiration. Sassy Tuesday will be celebrated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at Gulfview Square. Free health screenings, including glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure, will be given. Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its third annual Fashion Show and Luncheon at noon Valentine's Day at St. Nicholas Spanos Pappas Community Center, 348 N Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs. Salsa sassy fashions will be provided by Joey's Tropical Attitudes Boutique of Tarpon Springs. Beverley Billiris, mayor of Tarpon Springs, will be the mistress of ceremonies. A training session for volunteers of Hernando-Pasco Hospice is set from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the hospice office at 12029 Majestic Blvd., Suite 1, in Hudson. Emphasis will be on patient visitation in private residence, nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and the hospice house and care center. Call (727) 863-9522 to register. The Pasco County Chapter of National Alliance on Mentally Illness offers three types of support group meetings each month for family and friends of those with mental illness and those with mental illness. This includes all types of brain disorders, including but not limited to OCD, depression, autism, bi-polar, schizophrenia and multiple personalities. Daytime meetings are from 3 to 5 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at the Regency Park Civic Association building, 10240 Regency Park Blvd., Port Richey.
