AGUINO, Ralph J. 80, of Treasure Island, FL, Dumont, NJ, and Bayville Long Island, NY, passed peacefully on Feb. 8 2008. He was born on Dec. 17 1927 in Mendicino, Calabria, Italy. He grew up on W 139th St., Manhattan, NY. He saw action in the Pacific Theater of WW II. His wife, Dorothy Alphonsina Sarro and his entire family were his greatest joy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gilda. He will be forever missed by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his siblings, Mary, Michele and Anthony; his children, Frances, Michelle, Jeanne, Raama, Michele George and his grandchildren; Danielle, Nicholas, Michele J., Matthew and Zeke. He was a successful entrepreneur in NYC and for 45 years, created weddings and parties for the countries rich and famous as a florist in the best hotels in New York including the St. Regis, The Plaza, and the Waldorf Astoria. He decorated Saks and Tiffanys amoung others. He loved boating, water skiing, barbequing and dabbled in fishing. He also was proud of this vegetable garden as well as his signature dish of his home grown tomatoes basil and mozzarella. The viewing will be held at Brett Funeral Home on Tuesday Feb. 12 from 9:30 to 11:30 followed by the funeral procession past Mansions by the Sea to St. John's Catholic Church for 1 pm mass. HILL, Ralph B. Jr. "Buddy" passed away Feb. 6, 2008. He moved to this area from his native Portland, ME. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a former P.O.W. in the Italian campaign. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and many other awards. He was also a lifetime member and active in the V.F.W. Locally he owned and operative several automobile and recreational vehicle dealerships. he is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Barbara; 3 daughters, Allison, Tina, and Sherida, 3 granddaughters, Ashley, Olivia and Kelly and 6 stepchildren. A loving grandson F. Tyler Schweinle predeceased him. Known for his sense of humor and his zest for life whenever asked how he was , his response was always "Great, I'm on this side of the ground and world is still round". JONES, James M. 84, a resident of St. Petersburg, and formerly of Lake County, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008. James retired from Libertyville International Harvester; was a member and past president of the Round Lake Area Men's Club; and a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church. James is survived by his sons, Ron (Sandy) Arneson, Jack (Elvira) Arneson, Mike (Betty) Arneson; and his sister, Ollie Buffton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Robert Arneson and John Jones; his daughter, Diane Jones; and his brothers, Bill Jones, George Jones, and Jay Jones. JONES, Milton Davis 82, of Clearwater, passed away Feb. 8, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 15, 1925, in Clearwater. He served the U.S. Army during WWII, Battery C., 670th Field Artillery Battalion in France, Germany, Austria, Holland, and Czechoslovakia. After serving he earned his law degree at the University of Florida and master's degree in taxation at New York University. Milton practiced law in Clearwater for his entire 58-year career, and was a member of the Florida Bar and the Clearwater Bar Association. He served as president, director, and legal counsel to the Florida Historical Society and was also a past board member of the Clearwater Historical Society, Clearwater Historical Commission, Pinellas County Historical Society, and Pinellas County Historical Commission. He was a 50-year member of the Carlouel Yacht Club and First United Methodist Church. Milton was well known for his fine woodworking skills, producing beautiful, intricate, and ornate furniture and restoring antiquties. He transformed these skills into precise, fine ship models and served as president of the Tampa Bay Ship Model Society. Milton is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alva, of Clearwater; son, Richard, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Arvada, CO; daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Cliff, of Clearwater; daughter, Mary Margaret, of Clearwater; brother, Howard, of Troy, VA; brother, Homer, and his wife, Rosita, of Orlando; and grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Sarah Jones, and Conrad Childress. Milton's kind nature, patience and keen sense of humor will be greatly missed. He will always live in our hearts. KIM, Lester Alvin A memorial service, celebrating the life of Lester Alvin Kim, 87, of Thomasville, GA will be at 11 am, Saturday, Feb 16, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Thomasville, GA, with the Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer officiating. Mr. Kim died Feb. 7, 2008 at his home after a long illness. Born Sept. 10, 1920 in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late Henry and Florence Kim. He was married to Doris Jean McGarney Kim who preceded him in death in 2002. He graduated from Nyack Missionary College in Nyack, NY. He ministered 4 years in Indonesia, pastored churches in Western, PA, Minneapolis, MN and Seattle, WA. He also was a very successful businessman with Best Lock Corp. His main desire in life was to serve his Lord, family and others. He loved people and "never met a stranger" and "everyone loved Lester". KOLNER, Beatrice J. The angels took Beatrice J. Kolner by her hand and led her home on Jan. 30, 2008. Beatrice is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bryant "Bob"; her son, Bryant & future daughter-in-law, Wendy; her daughter, Janet; her brother, Ernest; 3 grand-daughters, Samantha, Virginia & Jessica; nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. SCHMEIDER, John David "Jack" 66 of Treasure Island, died Wednesday Feb. 6. Jack was born in Staten Island, NY, and moved to Florida in 1992. Jack served his country in the U.S. Air Force, as a technical Sgt. Top-secret Crypto clearance. He attended the NY Institute of Technology, and the Military communication and Crypto schools. Jack's civic duties included 15 years certified emergency medical tech., for a local volunteer squad in Staten Island, NY and in NJ. He was a volunteer for Special Olympics; a member of the mega gallon club (31 gal); Florida blood services; and a member of the Sunset Beach Civic Association. Jack's achievements include: Lucent Technology net care professional services award 1999; Abilities of Florida Employer of the Year award for Pinellas County 1995, for hiring and training the physically challenged; also inducted as a member of the circle of honor for Pinellas County 1995; mini Malcolm Baldrige award for quality excellence 1992; regional customer satisfaction award 1991; sales award for partnering in 1990; the National Eagle achievement award 1987; and founder of Secure On-Site Shredding. VANNERSON, Mr. Walter Norman "Norm" 73, of Lake Lindsey, passed away Feb. 2, 2008m in Carmel, IN. He was born in Eustis, FL, to Howard and Edythe Vannerson, and became the son of L.W. and Marian Jacobus, of Brooksville, FL. He served his country honorably in the Navy for 11 years, and retired from UPS after 25 years. WILCOXSON, Carl S. Sr. originally from Easton, IL, died Feb. 9, 2008, at the Havana Health Care in Havana, IL. He was 85 years old. Carl was born, Nov. 15, 1922, in Green County, KY, a son of Ora and Ida (Judd) Wilcoxson. He married Carol Oller on June 10, 1946, in Mt. Pulaski, IL, and died May 13, 2005. Carl was a WWII veteran and was a life member of both the Mason City American Legion, Post 496 and the Havana VFW Post 6408. He was a member of the Mason City Farm Bureau for more than 50 years. He was a salesman for Mason County Farm Supply, and a farmer for almost 38 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Magnolia Valley Golf and Civic Association in New Port Richey, FL. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Topeka, IL, and was Scout Cub Master for Troop #177 in Mason City. Carl was proceeded in death by three brothers, Garnett, Luther "Tom," Lester, and one sister, Kathleen (Louis) Riddell. Surviving are four sons, Carl Jr. (Carolyn), of Knoxville, IL, Bruce (Eva), of Havana, IL, Aaron (Patricia) and David (Lynn), both of Easton, IL; one brother Haskell "Hack," of Mason City, IL; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
