As part of its Presidential Events Series, Eckerd College, 4200 54th Ave. S, St. Petersburg, presents Jessica Stern (Terror in the Name of God: Why Religious Militants Kill) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fox Hall.

Bob Delaney (Covert: My Years Infiltrating the Mob) and co-author Dave Scheiber of the St. Petersburg Times will appear at two events today sponsored by Little Bookworms, 8111 Lakewood Main St., Suite 103, Bradenton. At noon, there will be a free signing and kids basketball competition at Little Bookworms. At 5 p.m. "An Evening With Bob Delaney" will be held at Polo Grill & Bar, Main Street at Lakewood Ranch.
