CLIP-CLOP TO THE FAIR

The fair came to town with a parade through downtown Dade City on Monday. In spite of rain that came halfway through the parade, many people huddled under umbrellas and in doorways to cheer on the bands, entertainers and riders. The 61st Pasco County Fair runs through Sunday at the county fairgrounds and is titled Rock Around the Stock, of which there will be plenty at the livestock pavilion. Tonight there will be youth steer showmanship and motorcycle competitions.
