Library offers Toddler Time and Storytime programs: Toddler Time (for 18-35 months) at 10 a.m., Storytime (for 3-5 years) at 11 a.m., West Hernando/S.T. African American Health Fair: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wal-Mart Supercenter, 13300 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. Numerous screenings will be offered, including ones for children from 21/2 to 6 years old. The nursing faculty and students from Pasco-Hernando Community College will perform certain tests. There will be a bouncer for children and a drawing for a $200 Wal-Mart gift card. Aripeka Elks Pig Roast: 4 p.m., Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520, 9135 Denton Ave., Hudson. The family fun event will feature pulled or sliced pork, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and more. Brooksville Elks Dinner Dance Benefit: 5 p.m., Brooksville Elks 2582, 14494 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville. The dinner dance will benefit the Harry Anna Trust Fund and the Elks National Foundation, two major sources for charities sponsored by the Elks. Citrus County Craft Council's Spring Fling Craft Show: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Crystal River National Guard Armory, Venable Street across from Home Depot off U.S. 19, south of Crystal River Airport, Crystal River. The annual show is free and will benefit the Nature World Wildlife Rescue of Citrus County. This is an inside and outside show with plenty of free parking. Rain or shine. College Goal Sunday: Pasco-Hernando Community College will participate in the statewide College Goal Sunday event, designed to reach out to low-income people in the community and first-generation-in-college students to help them apply for financial aid to attend college.

As part of College Goal Sunday, PHCC will host workshops from 2 to 4 p.m. at the following campuses: Room C-127, McKethan Library, PHCC North Campus, 11415 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Brooksville; Room A-240, PHCC East Campus, 36727 Blanton Road, Dade City; and Rooms C-205 and D-104, PHCC West Campus, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey.

Machine Gun Shoot: 9:30 a.m., Hernando Sportsman's Club, Commercial Way, 9 miles north of Cortez Boulevard. Five cars will be destroyed along with assorted other targets. Food available throughout the day. Admission for spectators is $2 per adult; children ages 15 and under admitted free with an adult.
