Rothschild, author of Self-Talk, Soul Talk: What to Say When You Talk to Yourself, will present a free reading and musical performance. The Palm Literary Society presents Tracy Chevalier (Burning Bright, Girl With a Pearl Earring) at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. She will speak in the Historic Asolo Theatre, followed by a book signing and reception in the Treviso restaurant, both at the Ringling Museum of Art, 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota.
