Community Hospital of New Port Richey announces the promotion of Christena Miano to the position of vice president of human resources.

Miano comes to Community Hospital from a similar position at South Bay Hospital in Sun City.

South Bay and Community hospitala are HCA facilities.

Miano holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Prudential names managing director

Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate in Trinity announces Raj M. Ravi was recently appointed managing director for its Tampa Bay area offices.

The firm recently relocated the Westshore office to South Tampa on Dale Mabry Highway. Ravi will oversee both of the Prudential CRES offices in Tampa and Trinity.

Ravi joined Prudential CRES in 2004 as a sales associate specializing in the sale of industrial properties and vacant commercial land.

A University of Florida graduate, he has several years of international business experience, having worked for IBM Global Services and Micromuse Inc., a software company, throughout London, New York and other major U.S. cities.

Volunteers needed for small businesses

The Pasco/Hernando chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit that provides counselors to small businesses, is seeking volunteers to share their business and professional knowledge with small business owners and managers.
