The NHL will participate in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. But the feeling is that could be the NHL's final participation in the Games. Playing in the Olympics forces the league to shut down for usually 16 days or so, and there's the added risk of injury to key players. Still, as forward Miroslav Satan told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "It made the Olympic tournament mean much more. It will be a shame if the NHL players aren't a part of it."
