CBSportsline's Mike Freeman doesn't think much of a Rays-Phillies matchup in the World Series, writing that it "could end up as the lowest-rated and least-watched World Series in modern history." He mentioned how Rays fans stuck around hours after Game 7 to celebrate the trip to the Fall Classic. "They were ecstatic and good for them," Freeman wrote. "Same for Phillies fans. But they'll be the only people longing for this one."

"There's nothing wrong with the old ballpark. It doesn't matter how fancy or dressed up the new park is, there's too much history to knock (the current stadium) down."
