CLOTHING CHARITY SEEKS DONATIONS OF WARM OUTFITS

As the weather cools, Clothes To Kids, a nonprofit that provides free new and gently used clothing to low-income Pinellas County schoolchildren seeks donations of warmer clothing and coats.

Clothing can be dropped off at Clothes To Kids Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Clothes To Kids also will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 1 and Nov. 15 for donations.

CTK also needs cash donations, which are tax-deductible and can be mailed to P.O. Box 6123, Clearwater, FL 33758-6123 or dropped off at the store at 1059 N Hercules Ave., Clearwater.

Antique market sets anniversary sale

Central Avenue Antique Marketplace will host its Second Anniversary Sale - an evening of wine tasting and antiques shopping - from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Patrons can sample a variety of wines while saving up to 75 percent on antiques throughout the store.

The sale will continue through Sunday.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The shop is at 2541 Central Ave. in the Grand Central District.
