The NHL's Board of Governors is kicking around the idea of adding a second team in Toronto. Some think it should be an expansion team while some think it would be a perfect spot to relocate an existing franchise. Either way, the idea makes sense. If the New Yorkarea can support three teams and Southern California can support two, there's no reason to think the hockey-crazed Toronto-Hamilton area could not support two teams.

ProElite Inc., the parent company of EliteXC, has notified employees and fighters that the whole shebang was being shut down immediately after the company reportedly lost tens of millions of dollars during its 22 months of operation. Good riddance.
