A dispute between a woman's current and former boyfriends escalated into an ambush at the entrance to the USA Flea Market on U.S. 19, authorities say. The Sheriff's Office said 10 to 15 people drove there Oct. 4 and attacked three men, using baseball bats, tire irons and brass knuckles. Ben Bradshaw was hit in the face with a bat, a report says, and dragged to a drainage ditch, where two people tried to drown him. Sam Bradshaw was dragged from the car and suffered facial injuries and a broken arm. Russell Stender got hit with the brass knuckles and had to have surgery on his face. In an interview, Roger Eugene Mumma told deputies he was upset with Ben Bradshaw for not leaving his ex-girlfriend alone. Mumma, 18, of 11395 Dauphin Ave. N in Largo faces three counts of aggravated battery and is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
