Kathy Young's grandkids love visiting her, and not just for the usual reasons. She has the ultimate playroom for them: a 1970 Silver Streak trailer, complete with granite countertops, stainless steel cabinets, grass cloth wallpaper and, of course, a TV. - "They're happy as clams'' in the trailer, which she bought in Polk County last year for $2,000. Young has invested another $5,000 into the trailer, which she says is for "absolute fun.'' - Next weekend, it becomes a must-see stop during Historic Kenwood's annual home and garden tour. BungalowFest is always a great event for connoisseurs of Craftsman bungalows and the many other architectural styles to be found along the brick streets of this central St. Petersburg neighborhood. It's an area that has won national attention, including a spread in the current issue of American Bungalow magazine. Vintage travel trailers owned and restored by residents such as Young add to the fun this year. - Historic Kenwood's BungalowFest Home and Garden Tour is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 1. Tickets can be purchased at Craftsman House, 2955 Central Ave., (727) 323-2787, for $10 in advance. For more information, go to www.historickenwood.org.
