D'AUGUSTINO, Patrick Jr. "Tucker," 81, of Tarpon Springs, died Oct. 27. He was born in Waycross, GA, he moved from North Carolina in 1957. Army paratrooper veteran of WWII, 11th Airborne Division. Member of VFW Post #10757, life member of Legion of the Moose #125, D.V.A. #78, Blind Veterans Association, Founding member of Moose Lodge #1429, holding the highest degree, the Pilgrim Degree of Merit. HAYNES, Rev. Richard B. 64, of St. Petersburg, went Home to be with the Lord Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, of heart failure. He was born in North Carolina and came here in 1985, from Dallas, TX. He was a 1994 graduate of New Orleans Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree and was a Pastor of various churches for 45 years including MN, TX, FL and was a former Executive Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship. He also was involved in various camp ministries. He was Associate Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in St. Petersburg. JABLONICKY, Michael P. of Clearwater, was born into Eternal Life on Oct. 5th, 2008. He moved to Florida in 1973 from his native Milwaukee, WI where he worked for the Jansen Co. for 14 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He also owned and operated Completion Consultants Inc. in Clearwater. KOULIANOS, Michael G. 93, of Tarpon Springs died Oct. 27. He was born in Tarpon Springs in 1915, and after the passing of his mother, he was moved to Kalymnos, Greece in 1920, before moving back to Tarpon Springs in 1933. He joined the U.S. Army in 1944, whereby he took part in the Invasion of Normandy and was awarded with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was an accountant for the Budd Company of Gary, IN. He was a board member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Tarpon Springs and the board president of St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Gary, IN, founding member of the Kalymnian Society of Tarpon Springs, a member of the Masonic Lodge #112 F&AM and The Egypt Temple Shrine . He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna and son, George. McCALL, Walter Keith 86, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008. Mr. McCall was born in Chicago, IL. In 1943 he proudly served his country as an Army Private, Company E, 3rd Signal Training Battalion at Camp Kohler in California. Mr. McCall was a 1947 graduate of the University of Illinois, Champagne - College of Engineering. His many professional accomplishments include Design Engineer for Raymond Loewy, designing systems for the first Greyhound Scenicruiser bus, work on camera optics of the U2 spy plane, and various other military programs. In 1968, Walter applied his wise counsel and guiding hand to a new startup company called Mini-Systems, that is still operating 40 years later, supplying critical components for the U.S. Military, Aerospace and Medical industries. Later in his working career, he acquired a U.S. Patent for a method of circuit board production. In his retirement, Mr. McCall was an active member of Pinellas County SCORE Chapter 115 and was presented with an award for Counselor of the Year. Mr. McCall was also active as a volunteer with the Morton Plant Hospital Foundation in Clearwater. He was the son of the late Walter and Isabella (Dunlop) McCall from Scotland and loving brother of the late Isabelle Bock. He was the loving husband of Joan (Jorgensen) for 42 years who preceded him in death in 1993. He is survived by his 2 sons and their children and families Glen A. and Tracie McCall and their children Ian, Finnegan and Owen of Oklahoma and Brian S. McCall and Roxanne Bayle, Tyler and Brianna Bayle of Florida; nieces Lisa and Kristina Jorgensen and nephew Eric Jorgensen. Mr. McCall is also survived by his lifelong college friend of 63 years, Mr. Glen Robertson of Sarasota, as well as the many friends and caregivers that helped care for him in his late life. OVERCASH, Mildred 92 died Oct. 16, 2008, in Cartersville, GA. Mildred was born in Pierce, FL on Sept. 7, 1916 but her family moved to Dunedin the same year. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gerald Overcash. Mildred and Gerald owned and operated the Sun-Ni-Land motel and golf course in Dunedin. Upon retirement, Mildred and Gerald moved to Maggie Valley, NC & then Blairsville, GA. Mildred is survived by her son, William and daughter-in-law Paulma of Cartersville, GA; her son Robert of Eastanollee, GA; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. PIERSON, Marjorie passed away Oct. 26th. Born in Jacksonville, IL, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1963. She graduated in 1941, from Mac Murray College. She worked for the Army Air Force in Washington, DC during WW II. She was a school teacher in Illinois for 20 years, taught at George M Lynch, St. Petersburg for 1 year and at Skycrest Elementary, Clearwater for 15 years. She also owned and operated Foxy Lady Boutique, Clearwater for 1975 - 1985. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Al Pierson. ROBERTS, Mildred M. 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 28th. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie in 2001, after 68 years of marriage; by her parents Henry and Helen Mack, and by her sister Dorothy Gibson of Albuquerque, NM. Mildred was born, raised, and lived for 86 years in St. Joseph, MO. In 1997, she moved to Valrico, to be near her daughter, Donna L. Robinson. They moved to St.. Petersburg in 2007, where Mildred lived at the Springs of Boca Ciega Bay. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, Mack O. Roberts and his wife Darla of Denver, CO; 5 grandchildren and their spouses; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren and 2 step great-great-grandchildren. Mildred attended St. Peters Lutheran School in St.. Joseph and graduated from Lafayette High School as salutatorian of her class at the age of 14. She graduated from Gard's Business School and went to work for the office of the mayor in St. Joseph. She was employed in the business world throughout her life and retired from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals at the age of 65, where she was traffic manager. She was a past president of the Women's Traffic Club in St. Joseph. Mildred was always active in St. Paul Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, being president of the LWML, an evangelism caller, worker in the quilting circle, chairman of the memorial committee, serving meals to the homeless, and working with Meals on Wheels. She loved and supported a number of mission efforts of the church throughout her life. She was a member at Immanuel Lutheran, Brandon; Hope Lutheran, Plant City, and Our Savior Lutheran, St. Petersburg while living in Florida. Her children, grandchildren, and numerous friends could not have asked for a better Christian role model. She was always there for them with kindness and concern, especially as a fervent prayer warrior, encourager, and listener. Her upbeat attitude was always a blessing. She had survived The Great Depression and the deployment of her husband during World War II, these events contributing to her strong character. Mildred often stated in this past year that she was ready to go home to be with her Lord when it was His time. Her death came quickly and peacefully. The family appreciates the wonderful caretakers at the Springs and the quality care she was given. A service will be held at 10:30, Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg with burial next to her husband at the Veterans' Cemetery in Bushnell. SHOEMAKER, Betty Ann born on Dec. 31st, 1926, in Washington, DC, died Saturday, Oct. 18th, 2008, in Dublin OH. Originally from Bethesda, MD, attended Bethesda Chevy Chase H.S. Worked as a grants clerk for NIH, retiring in 1977. Married Donald Shoemaker 1946. They resided in Oldsmar, until Don died in 2003. She then moved to Ohio in 2004. Survived by her sons, Bruce, Ted and Rob; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister; a brother and a half-brother and their families. She loved animals, golf, playing cards, and ice cream. She will be greatly missed.

SILVERMAN, Leonard 54, of Palm Harbor passed away peacefully at his home Friday, Oct. 24th. Lenny was a husband, father, grandfather and friend and he will be greatly missed. An avid Jets fan, he also enjoyed boating, and was an accomplished painter; most importantly, his love was just spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Linda Crecca; his stepchildren, Lara Kelley & James Tallet, Stacey Kelley and Stephen Kelley and his most prized possession, his grandson, Ronan Tallet. Lenny also leaves behind extended family out of state. A private memorial service will be held, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

SMENNER, E. Ray 64, of Media, PA died Oct. 14, 2008, at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media after an extended illness. He is survived by daughters Hillary Childers of Park Hills, MO and Allison Chabot of Media, PA; grandchildren Jeremiah, Lauren, Madelynne, and Rachel; sister Judi Martinez of Corona, CA, and her family and ex-wife Marcia Smenner of Springfield, MO. Ray enjoyed a life-long career devoted to arts education and arts advocacy. He recently retired from the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, where he was Curator of Education since 2006. He served as Assistant Director for the Pinellas County Arts Council in St. Petersburg as well as Director of Education and Community Programs from 1990 to 2006. Ray also served as Education Director at the Florida Gulf Coast Art Center in Belleair from 1989 - 90. Ray was very active with Arts for a Complete Education at the state and local level and on the advisory boards of Very Special Arts and the Youth Arts Corps, which he helped establish. He was a gifted painter and maintained a studio at ArtsSpace for several years. Prior to living in Florida, Ray was Curator of Education at the Springfield Art Museum in Missouri and held various teaching and faculty positions. A celebration of Ray's life will be held at The Studio at 620, 620 First Avenue South, St. Petersburg on Sunday, Nov. 2nd, at 7 pm. STANTON, John 81, joined the Lord in Heaven on Oct. 19. Born Feb. 19, 1927, in Red Springs, NC, he was a WWII combat veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was the pastor of Oldsmar Baptist Church from 1969-1982, and founder of Oldsmar Christian School. He is survived by Peggy Stanton his wife of 62 years; 5 children, Dale Testino of Augusta, GA, John Stanton, Sharon Rabb, Richard Stanton & Traci Goodfellow, all of the Tampa Bay area; as well as 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grand- children. WOOD, John H. of Warminster, PA, formerly of Brooksville, FL and Franklin Lakes, NJ, died on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008 at age 78. John was born in Brooklyn, NY to John J. and Marie (Lally)Wood.
