Authorities have arrested two Pasco residents whom they believe were involved in two recent robberies in North Pinellas. Brady Paul Kusmierczyk, 26, and Michelle Lee Sachs, 34, were arrested Wednesday after authorities said they robbed a Circle K at 35319 U.S. 19 N in Palm Harbor. The robbery took place at 4 a.m. When Pinellas deputies responded, they recognized similarities between that robbery and one at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hess Express at 38611 U.S. 19 N in Tarpon Springs. In the first robbery, a man brandished a large knife and demanded that the clerk open the register. He took the money and got into a white Lexus, driven by someone else. In the second robbery, the male suspect ordered the clerk to give him money. One of the deputies Wednesday noticed the Lexus near the intersection of U.S. 19 and Tampa Road, which led to the arrest. The cash stolen during the second robbery was recovered, authorities said. Kusmierczyk is charged with one count of robbery and is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. Sachs is charged with being an accessory to robbery; her bail is $5,000.
