LOVE, Clifford E. "Cliff" age 80, of Palm Harbor died peacefully on Nov. 25, 2008. Preceded in death by Glenna, wife of 52 years. Survived by his beloved partner, Patricia Schmidt; sons William (Dorie) and Woody (Elaine); 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He graduated from Oskaloosa HS in 1946, and achieved a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson. Served with the Iowa State Guard, US Army and again in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Cliff lived a full life with a career that brought him around the country and world, beginning in radio and evolving to a successful career in computer programming. He retired from the St Petersburg Times in 1990. Loving travel, sports cars, bridge and RV's, he also enjoyed Square dancing, and Texas Hold-em. He was an intelligent and honest man. A Military Service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, MN in the spring.

RAYMUND, Edward Charles the philanthropist and visionary founder of the multi-billion dollar corporation Tech Data, died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 9, 2008, surrounded by family and friends in Mission Hospital, in Orange County, CA. He was 80. Raymund founded Tech Data in Clearwater, in 1974. Today, the firm is a $23.4 billion global concern with offices in both Americas and Europe. Raymund was part of the initial group of pioneers to be inducted into the Computer Industry Hall of Fame in 1997. Born Aug. 26, 1928, in Los Angeles, Raymund attended the University of Southern California. His kindness and generosity is legendary, and he is remembered by the many causes he embraced: USC, Noble Vikings of Orange County, Mission Hospital, St. Margaret's Episcopal School, Mission of San Juan Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano Historical Society, Boys and Girls Club of San Juan Capistrano, OJAI Museum of Art, Newport Sports Museum, and Defense Orientation Conference Association. He was a retail manager at Walgreens in California and was a member of Mt. Vernon M.B. Church in California. WALSH, Richard George 87, passed away on Dec. 19, 2008, at his residence in Sturgis, MS. He was born in Trenton, NJ on March 20, 1921 to Robert and Anna Reed Walsh. He was WWII Navy veteran. He lived in Florida for 30 years before moving in 2007, to Sturgis, MS. He was a retired TV technician for Sears. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Trenton, NJ and an amateur radio operator for over 70 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris Walsh of Sturgis, MS; children, Jeffrey H. Walsh and wife Ann of Sturgis; Melinda Walsh of Largo, Barry Walsh and wife Laurie of Doylestown, PA & Amy Walsh of Chicago; five grandchildren and five great- grandchilden; niece, Nancy Verzi of Oldsmar; and a sister, Peg Haas of New Port Richey. A memorial service for Mr. Walsh will be scheduled at a later date.

WOOLEY, Helen Bernice 94, passed away at the Palace Rennaisance Assisted Care Facility in Miami on Dec. 12, 2008. Bernice was born on May 30, 1914 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a resident of St. Pete Beach since 1948 moving there with her husband, Marion, and daughter. She was the manager of the lingerie department at Montgomery Wards for many years. She was a member of the Pass-A-Grille Community Church since 1948. Survivors include her daughter, Sherrye Troy and her husband, Robert, of Miami. Other survivors include a granddaughter, Yvette Parissi, and her husband, Rob, of St. Petersburg as well as a grandson, Douglas Troy, and his wife, Khristina, of Woodstock, GA. She has 4 great-grand-children, Khristopher Geerken, Isabella, Aleksandria and Olivia Troy. A memorial service will be held at Pass-A-Grille Community church on Monday Dec. 29th at 1 pm. YATES, Helen Ruby Young 92, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in Columbia, TN. Mrs. Yates was a native of Kalamazoo, MI and the daughter of the late John Young & Jessie Florence Landen Young. She was a longtime resident of Pinellas Park, where she was employed as a cafeteria manager by the Pinellas County School Board for twenty years and was a former resident of South Bend, IN. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Pinellas Park. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Mabesoone-Sharp and Charlotte (Frank) Tamberrino both of Columbia, TN; one son, Gerald John Yates of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, Brett Bailey, Patrick Bailey, Christopher (Mary) Mabesoone, Donald Mabesoone all of FL, Michael Tamberrino, Cara Tamberrino both of Columbia, TN, John (Angie)Yates of South Bend, IN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Lawrence Eddington of FL; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, George Alan Yates, an infant daughter, Beverly Jean Yates, granddaughter, Lynn Yates, two brothers, LeRoy Young, Charles Young and the father of her children, Gerald V. Yates. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend, Indiana with Rev. Jim Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend.
