Coach Bob Dare "I feel we can definitely build from last year's team and I'm optimistic that we have some pieces together that should be able to do that."

Coach Bob Dare "The majority of the team will be freshmen and sophomores and we will have a bright future with them."

LB/RB Chris Brown "We're just going to play 48 minutes of high-intensity football each week."

LB/RB Chris Brown "We are a young team and most of the kids have to grow up fast because they'll be seeing a lot of playing time."

A few Lancers we'll be following on Fridays

LB/RB Chris BrownDare expects big things out of Brown. The senior could be considered the Lancers' most versatile player.

QB Hayden Kelly Kelly gained loads of experience as a freshman after Cambridge lost its starting QB before last season. He flashed a lot of potential last year and is a threat to run.

WR Damarcus Faison The 6-foot-5 Faison has great hands and is expected to be the big-play threat in the passing game. He should be a matchup nightmare for much shorter cornerbacks.
