What are the Warriors doing?

Laying the foundation of their program, with no expectation other than to be competitive each week.

What they're saying about the Warriors

Coach Floyd Graham "Basically four of our first five ball games are either going to be (against) someone who is also new or three JV (teams). So four out of our first five ball games, our goal is to compete in them."

Coach Floyd Graham "I think this (schedule of seven varsity and three JV games) is better than having a JV schedule like Spoto and Lennard did. ... I think this is a great idea."

Coach Floyd Graham "That's the biggest difference from (Year 1) at Newsome, at least I had a spring. Here, I didn't have a spring. The first time I ever saw these kids in pads was (Aug. 13)."

CB Tyler Mitchell "We have (three) JV games, hopefully we'll win those and beat Strawberry Crest at least once because we play them twice."

CB Tyler Mitchell "Then to win another couple of varsity games and go .500, that would be great."

Friday Night Rewind Warriors have the ideal leader in Graham, who knows a thing or two about building programs from the ground up. Three to four wins is a realistic goal.
