Coach David Mitchell "Everybody's goal is to always go to the state championship. That's our goal; we've just got to overcome the interior linemen situation and we'll be all right."

Spoto coach Dale Caparaso "When I was in Pasco County I know Wharton played Pasco County teams so I saw them on film back in the day. ... We expect them to be disciplined, very well-coached and come right at us."

RB Shane McEwen "I think we can be way better than people think we are. We've got a lot of people that's going to step up. We're going to do real good."
