Spring Hill photographer Carol Teal has been named a finalist in Snowden's "Celebrate the Mining Industry" People's Choice photo contest. She is among 64 other photographers who made it to the final stage. Teal's photo was taken at Brooksville's Vulcan Mine; it depicts mounds of limestone screenings at sunrise.
