The Spring Hill Regional Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary recently awarded scholarships to three graduating seniors.
Angelica Bertone of Nature Coast Technical High School will attend Pasco-Hernando Community College to obtain a neonatal nursing degree. Kelsey Bolista of Nature Coast Technical High will attend PHCC to obtain an anesthesiology degree. Caroline Northup, a graduate of Central High, will be attending the University of South Florida to attain a physical therapy degree.
Each of the scholarships is worth $1,500 each year, and will continue for four years as long as criteria are met.
In addition to providing scholarships, the Volunteer Auxiliary makes donations to various community charities. The auxiliary was recently recognized by HPH Hospice during the dedication of its new building on Cortez Boulevard for providing two rooms at the location.
