HUDSON'S TELLO HAS POTENTIAL

In Hudson's 17-14 loss to Gulf last week, Cobras receiver Jamie Tello had 10 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown.

But according to his coach, Tello didn't play his best.

"Actually, he didn't have a very good night for him," coach Mark Nash said. "And it was still a solid performance."

Translation: Nash thinks Tello - a transfer from Land O'Lakes who caught 20 passes for 243 yards in 2008 - can be very, very good this season.

"He has the potential to be one of the best I've ever coached," Nash said. "He's got all the tools. He's got above-average speed, and he's the best route runner I've coached."

With Zack Wynn at quarterback, Hudson will throw it a lot. That means Tello will have plenty of chances. For starters, at least.

"More and more teams will probably double cover him or scheme to him," Nash said.

Rewind Remix and Leon Orr

Some recruiting analysts have called Gulf superstar Leon Orr a physical freak. After watching him on Rewind Remix, you'll see why. Quite frankly, it'll make your jaw drop.

In it, the 6-foot-4, 315-pound senior DT/TE, who is committed to the Florida Gators and is ranked among the country's top 100 recruits by rivals.com, not only tips a pass but dives to make the interception.

To say the least, it was a special play - one of many from the Tampa Bay area you'll be able to watch on Rewind Remix this fall. Want your team's highlights played on the show?

It's simple. Send in your best videos (in an avi file to cotey@sptimes.com or kniebuhr@sptimes.com) within 48 hours after that week's game, and we'll run the best submissions.
