What you're reading is just for you, a special newspaper for high school students, brought to you by the St. Petersburg Times.
What makes it special?
It's put together by people like you - some of the most talented high school writers, photographers and videographers in the Tampa Bay area. Our student staff will produce tb-two* every week through the school year, working with Times staff.
We hope you'll read tb-two* each week and visit tb-two.com often, and get your friends to do the same. Online, you'll find tons of news, photos and video, as well as music, TV and movie reviews written by our high school critics. We're even carrying Ted Braden's blog, written from the Pinellas County Jail (see Page 10).
Through our partnership with HomeTeam, we have what we think is the best high school sports coverage anywhere at tb-two.com/sports. And we have an extensive college prep section, where you can check out what current college students have to say about their schools, and read the essays that got them in.
You'll find lots of great contests in which you can win free stuff - look for the one today worth $950 of prizes for homecoming.
We would love to hear from you. Want to contribute? Submit photos and stories and tell us what you think (about anything) at tb-two.com and on our Facebook page, facebook.com/tbtwo.
So what does the name tb-two* mean? We're not sure, we just like the way it sounds.
Thanks for picking it up.
