LEESBURG - Turnovers and missed opportunities sent the visiting Lions to just their second loss in their past 13 games.
"We just had too many turnovers and were pretty young," Lions coach David Raley said.
Hernando Christian (0-2) fumbled on its first possession on the 1-yard line and never recovered. The Eagles (1-1) took the lead on a field goal and added a rushing touchdown later.
