POLITICS ASIDE, ONE THING ALL CAN AGREE ON

By now you've heard that President Barack Obama told a reporter (supposedly off the record) what he really thinks of Kanye West's hijacking of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. You've also likely seen Kanye's stammering apology on The Jay Leno Show (watch it at blogs.tampabay.com/juice). Obama was speaking to ABC reporter Terry Moranand made the comment while his microphone was being adjusted. Moran recounted via @TerryMoran: "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."

Hogans are selling their homes

For all of you who've wanted to be rid of Pinellas County's biggest celebrities, your wishes may be coming true. Hulk and Linda Hogan, whose divorce was finalized in late July, have put their Pinellas homes on the market as part of their settlement agreement, her attorney, Raymond Rafool, has confirmed. He would not discuss how proceeds of the homes would be divided, citing a confidentiality clause. Up for sale is the 17,145-square-foot French chateau-style Belleair mansion the couple built in 1996, featured in their VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, and their nearly 3,500-square-foot Clearwater Beach house at 720 Eldorado Ave. The Hogans tried to sell the mansion for $25 million in 2006. Today, it has a market value of $6.37 million, down from its 2006 high of $7.33 million, according to the Pinellas County property appraiser. The ex-couple are asking $13.9 million in an online listing. That makes all kinds of sense. So does the asking price on their Key West-style three bedroom beach house, with a market value of $1.38 million; they're asking $2.3 million. While they're dreaming, they also should ask for a pony, a candy canes car and their hair to be naturally blond.

Celebs say so long to Patrick Swayze

While we're waiting for the Patrick Swayze movie marathons on basic cable (To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar is vastly underrated), the stars have come out to say how much they'll miss him.Jennifer Grey remembers a little movie they made together 22 years ago called Dirty Dancing: "Patrick was a rare and beautiful combination of raw masculinity and amazing grace," she told Us. "He was fearless and insisted on always doing his own stunts, so it was not surprising to me that the war he waged on his cancer was so courageous and dignified. ... When I think of him, I think of being in his arms when we were kids ... having a blast doing this tiny little movie we thought no one would ever see."

'Transformers' crew: Fox 'dumb as a rock'

Megan Fox's comparison of Michael Bay to Adolf Hitlercatches up with her, as three Transformers 2 crew members took to its site to lambaste the 23-year-old, calling her "thankless, classless, graceless." Gee, guys, how do you really feel? "We've had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both Transformers movies." (The since-removed post is still on Deadline.com.) Bay wrote back on his site: "Her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm. The fact of the matter is, I still love working with her." Jeez, that means there's really gonna be a third one.
