Largo held off Gibbs' rally to earn a 42-32 victory Thursday.
The Packers led 28-6 early in the second quarter and 35-18 at halftime.
But Gibbs (0-3) came out fast in the second half, scoring on Joshua Rembert's 1-yard run less than two minutes in. The Gladiators knocked on the door late in the game, but Jamarious Boatright came up with an interception for the Packers (3-0). Then Kevin Riley led them down the field and scored on a 2-yard run to seal it.
Gibbs coach Donnie Abraham said he was proud of how his team played.
"We're seeing improvement every week," he said. "The players are buying into the program and starting to believe."
D.J. Key finished with 137 rushing yards, including a 42-yard touchdown just 32 seconds into the game, for the Packers. Riley had 238 total yards, rushed for two touchdowns and threw for one.
Rembert had a stellar performance for the Gladiators, passing for 272 yards and two touchdowns and running for a touchdown.
