MAN CONVICTED OF BYSTANDER'S DEATH

A 25-year-old man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in a shooting that killed Amanda Lynn Fanter, 25, of St. Petersburg. Aaron T. Daniels of St. Petersburg shot at another man in an argument in 2007 outside the Tanglewood Apartments on 65th Way and 54th Avenue N, and hit Fanter by mistake. He was convicted this week and will be sentenced to a minimum of 25 years in prison, with a possible life sentence, Assistant State Attorney Brian Daniels said. His sentencing is set for Oct. 16.
