The Coast Guard is searching for a 45-year-old woman who was reported missing after she did not return from a boating trip near Anclote Key on Sunday. Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg received a call about 4 p.m. reporting an unmanned 16-foot sport craft had been found adrift 3 miles north of the key. A dog, the keys to the boat and a towel were still on board, a Coast Guard news release said. A short time later, the mother of Paula Migliorini reported that her daughter had not returned to Dock of the Bay in Tarpon Springs. Coast Guard officials compared the two reports and began searching. Migliorini's hometown was not released. Members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a 24-foot rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Sand Key in Clearwater and an HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater are assisting with the search. Members of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office are also investigating. The Coast Guard is asking that anyone with information about Migliorini's whereabouts call Sector St. Petersburg at (727) 824-7506.
