Sony is launching a PlayStation 3 with a larger hard drive on Nov. 3 to give more room for game, movie and music downloads. The $350 gaming console will have a 250-gigabyte hard drive, more than twice the size of the recently launched slimmer, lighter PlayStation 3. That one costs $300 and has a 120-gigabyte hard drive.

Raj Rajaratnam, one of America's wealthiest men, was among six hedge fund managers and corporate executives arrested Friday in a hedge fund insider trading case that prosecutors say reaped more than $20 million in illegal profits. U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara told a news conference in New York it was the largest hedge fund case ever prosecuted and marked the first use of court-authorized wiretaps to capture conversations by insider trading suspects.

ConAgra Foods will cut sodium from the food it manufactures by 20 percent in the next five years, the maker of Chef Boyardee and Hebrew National said Thursday. ConAgra wants to make food healthier and lure health-conscious shoppers. ConAgra said its decision will affect as many as 20 brands and 160 varieties of products, from Hunt's tomatoes to Marie Callendar's frozen meals.

Wal-Mart Stores has launched a full-fledged price war with Amazon.com, lowering prices on certain hardback titles to $9. The discounts, which began Thursday when Wal-Mart listed prices for some upcoming hardcover releases such as Dean Koontz's Breathless and Stephen King's Under the Dome at $10, was answered with a similar price cut by Amazon. Then the two competitors lowered the prices again to $9.
