The man smelled of alcohol and the left side of his face was covered in bruises, blood and bandages, authorities said.
Once he stopped all the yelling and cursing, he told deputies that he didn't remember much about what happened that night. So authorities sent him to the hospital.
And then to the Hernando County Jail.
Timothy Hill Walker, 27, was arrested early Wednesday for threatening and accosting a group of five people with a knife in the parking lot of Longshotz Bar and Grill at 1320 Commercial Way in Spring Hill. Walker was charged with aggravated assault and held Thursday in lieu of $1,000 bail.
His mug shot at the jail shows a man who was involved in quite a collision - bandages stained with blood stretching from his forehead to his jaw. If only Walker could remember how it all happened.
According to the arrest report, Walker was standing outside of Longshotz sometime after 2 a.m. and approached a group of two women and three men in the parking lot. The group of friends said Walker broke a glass mug, pulled out a knife and warned one of the men, Robert Butler, to "leave and let the girls go."
Though scared and "afraid for his life," Butler said, he struck Walker and managed to take away the knife.
The four witnesses confirmed Butler's version of the events to the deputies. Also, authorities found a broken glass mug outside the front entrance to Longshotz and recovered the knife.
When deputies attempted to speak with Walker at the scene, they said he was uncooperative and yelling profanities.
Walker was then taken to Spring Hill Regional Hospital because of his facial injuries.
At the hospital, Walker told deputies that he'd been drinking whiskey before going to Longshotz.
Walker saidthere were a number of attractive women there and "who wouldn't hit on the girls there?
"Honestly, you know what it is, I probably hit on the wrong girl."
Walker couldn't explain the injuries to his face because "my memory went bad because I was drinking."
Walker was then arrested and transported to the jail.
