OTTAWA - Shea Weber made sure the Predators earned a full two points in a wild game with the Senators.
The defenseman scored his second goal of the game, on a power play 2:11 into overtime, to give Nashville a 6-5 win Thursday.
"Definitely not a defensive battle," said Weber, who also had an assist. "But we got two points, and we're happy."
Weber ripped a shot between Pascal Leclaire's pads with Matt Carkner off for interference, capping a game in which the Predators, who ended a six-game winless streak, blew a 3-0 lead.
Ryan Suter put Nashville up with 1:00 left during a two-man advantage. Chris Phillips tied it with 1.6 seconds left while short-handed with Leclaire on the bench for an extra attacker.
"That's a tough game to sum up in 30 seconds," Phillips said. "Obviously, not the start we wanted. But we battled back."
Blackhawks: Center Jonathan Toews and defenseman Brent Seabrook missed practice but are not expected to miss any games. Vancouver's Willie Mitchell came out of the penalty box in Wednesday's game and leveled an unsuspecting Toews, who missed the remaining 14 minutes. Chicago coach Joel Quenneville, who called the hit clean, said Toews has an upper-body injury. Seabrook also left with an upper-body injury.
Ducks: Former Lightning wing Evgeny Artyukhin was suspended three games for slew-footing the Stars' Matt Niskanen on Wednesday. Niskanen was hurt, but Dallas has not disclosed his status.
