BAY AREA PLAYER OF THE DAY - DEXTER MCCLUSTER

Dexter McCluster, a graduate of Largo High, ran for a career-high 123 yards and caught seven passes for a career-high 137 yards in host Mississippi's 30-17 win over Arkansas. McCluster plays a variety of roles for Ole Miss, but he hadn't been much of a factor this season. But by halftime Saturday, he already had a career-high 108 rushing yards. In the second half, McCluster turned a screen pass into a 64-yard touchdown. "I found out right after the game last week, in the dressing room, that I was going to get the ball," McCluster said. "I knew the coaches hadn't forgotten me."
