A 22-year-old Pasco County woman who had had too much to drink was taken to a hospital, where she punched three nurses, an arrest report states. Katie Patterson of New Port Richey was taken to Oak Hill Hospital around 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office report. In the emergency room, Patterson, who stands 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds, punched registered nurse Demetria Nulls in the face, a report states. Patterson then punched registered nurse Raquel Ball in the face. She also spat in Ball's face, the report states. Finally, Patterson punched charge nurse Sharon Stevens in the face. Patterson was arrested on three counts of felony battery on medical personnel and taken to the Hernando County Jail.

Deputy injured during arrest
A combative Zephyrhills man resisting arrest early Monday morning head-butted a Pasco deputy, breaking his nose and chipping several of his teeth, an arrest report said. Pasco deputies investigating a disturbance around midnight met with James Patrick Ryan, 20, at a Twin Lake home near State Road 54. After giving two false names, deputies said, Ryan was ordered to put his hands behind his back. He didn't give up without a fight, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. Ryan was charged with aggravated battery on an officer, battery on an officer, three counts of resisting arrest and one count of providing false identification. He remains at the jail in lieu of $70,150 bail.
