MAN SENTENCED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

TAMPA

A federal judge sentenced a Plant City man to 20 years in prison Tuesday for drug trafficking. Nathaniel Hargrove, 44, was found guilty March 31 on four counts of distribution of crack cocaine. He faced a minimum sentence of 10 years because of prior drug convictions, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. But his 25-year criminal history - which included battery, burglary, grand theft and distribution of other types of drugs - persuaded federal prosecutors to ask the judge for an increased sentence.
