Beginning today, Tampa residents and businesses can water yards twice a week on assigned days. The Southwest Florida Water Management District voted Tuesday to ease up on watering rules. Tampa's schedule is: -Addresses ending in 0, 1, 2 or 3: Mondays and Thursdays.-Addresses ending in 4, 5, or 6: Tuesdays and Fridays.-Addresses ending in 7, 8, or 9: Wednesdays and Saturdays.-Locations with no address and mixed addresses: Wednesdays and Saturdays.Watering from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. is prohibited. Micro-irrigation and other low-volume irrigation of non-turf landscaping is allowed with no restrictions. The change eliminates assigned days for vehicle washing and time limits on the operation of decorative fountains and lifts pressure washing limitations. The restrictions do not apply to reclaimed water.
