Player of the day

Italy's Antonio Cassano has a big fan. A man the Italian news agency ANSA identified as Mario Ferri ran onto the field during Wednesday's game. Carrying a vuvuzela and wearing a shirt with a slogan protesting the forward's absence from the Cup team, he reached midfield before being caught. Ferri did something similar during November's friendly against the Netherlands.
