A Pasco deputy responded to a 911 call at 1 a.m. Tuesday expecting to smooth over a domestic disturbance.
Instead, he found Debra Leebrock, 45, swaying back and forth, slurring her speech and needing a ride.
"I need a cab, please," she told a deputy as soon as he pulled up to the parking lot of Piccolo's Italian Restaurant along State Road 54, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report.
Unable to find a taxi, she had called 911, she told the deputy.
Almost two hours later, Leebrock called 911 again and told dispatchers there had been an aggravated battery.
When the deputy returned, she said her friend had thrown a crock pot full of stew at her, but the crock pot was lying on its side on the kitchen counter, unharmed. The deputy arrested her and charged her with misuse of the 911 system.
Leebrock, who is homeless, previously has been convicted of tampering with a witness, possessing marijuana and five counts of battery.
She is being held at Land O'Lakes jail in lieu of $150 bail.
